“L'Étranger”

“L'Étranger” began as a project for an artist’s book class at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Students were instructed to design a short zine using a singular royalty-free image, reworked over and over again to produce many different effects. “L'Étranger” is roughly based on Albert Camus’s 1942 novella and works to encapsulate the transformation and alienation of personal identity in the face of mortality and memory. The zine was produced in limited edition using risograph non-archival printing methods.
